OLIVE HARVEST MACHINE

The electronically controlled, portable olive harvest machine project was initiated with the aim of enhancing the national and regional product development ability in the agricultural machine sector along with gaining an alternative to imported machines. It was developed between 2008 and 2013 with the support of TEYDEP 1507(National Industrial R&D Project Grant Program) and KOSGEB (R&D Innovation and Industrial Application Support Program for SME's) . The machine is a shaking type which is provoked from the energy source with direct current electrical energy and commanded manually; it is meant to be used by one person and the power unit is carried mobile by the user during the harvest. The project has been developed up to the field test phase which concluded successfully.
