The biopsy forceps, patented by Dr. Mahmut Tokur endoscopically enables a simple and secure biopsy from the inner organs of the body. Compared to other biopsy needles, due to its auger structure it increases the diagnostic possibilities by obtaining more pathological material at the same biopsy level. Moreover while two forceps are united in order to form a single one, it accelerates the healing process by permitting the performance of a smaller incision and facilitating the operation of the surgeon. Within the context of the project, solutions were generated from the industrial design to prototype production and animation studies were performed.
